This was just an optimal selection for a short layover in Ventura with great value for the money. The patio outside our room was my favorite place to relax with a drink. Make sure to use the fridge and microwave for snacks.

We had a fantastic time visiting the Ventura Pier, just a short stroll from our room. The beach was perfect for our family, and the attentive staff truly made us feel at home. We also loved the spaciousness that the two queen beds provided for my grown kids.

In my wife’s opinion, the parking situation could be improved for families with children.

I really enjoyed being just a block away from the beach, which made my morning walks so refreshing, and there are plenty of great dining options within walking distance like Social Tap and Duke's Griddle 'n Grill that were perfect for quick meals after exploring the area. while overall it was a comfortable experience, I did notice that the room could use some updates since some amenities felt a bit worn out.

we loved the friendly staff at shores inn! they really went above and beyond to make us comfortable, even bringing us cushions for the porch. the location was perfect, just a short walk to the beach and nice restaurants nearby. our room was cozy, with comfortable beds and a fridge.
